Hi, I’m Debra!

I’m an avid mood reader with a passion for romance and fantasy. I live in the western North Carolina mountains with my spouse, our cat, and our dog.

I started making book content online in 2020. That led me to an intern position with a PR and literary management firm where I eventually became the director of influencer marketing, working with 70+ authors. I wanted to bring that experience to a personalized level, and thus, DKA Literary Services was born.

As an accountable, detail-oriented, and professionally driven person, I’m adept at creating streamlined systems and processes to enhance efficiency and productivity. I now use these skills to help authors, PR companies, and small businesses establish effective organizational systems to achieve their goals.
